Over 15 years, I dedicated myself to diverse industries from tourism to real estate and IT, working across different countries. My journey began as a salesman for small and medium enterprises, gathering invaluable experience in business growth and scaling.
Allow me to share the story of how this vision came to life.
Story behind Clientment
Despite many years of experience, the hundreds of books read, the trainings bought, and the lessons learned from mentors, I still had the classic problem of every salesman and entrepreneur: Lack of leads interested in my product or service.
I found myself struggling daily with lack of interest from potential clients whom I reached by door-to-door contact or cold calls. They were not targeted consumers and therefore were not interested. However, even if there may have been interest, there seemed to be some missing piece from our sales strategy. The only suggestion from my managers was,
“Keep it up. The more doors that close in your face, the greater the chances of closing a sale; the more phone rejections you receive, the greater the chances of making an appointment.”
While it is true that resilience and persistence can be rewarding, this approach is not sustainable over time. The second or third year of reliance on cold calls can cause a salesperson to implode or an entrepreneur to go broke.
Since I was tired of this situation, I became obsessed with finding the answer. I started searching, online and offline, for information about new ways to find potential customers interested in my product and services. I spent countless hours (as well as an amount of money I don’t care to mention) and at the end, I found a golden thread that led me to deepen disciplines such as direct response marketing, internet marketing, inbound marketing, and copywriting.
In the end, I decided to merge together and apply my knowledge in the field of local leads generation, providing craftsmen and small businesses with the system we have created over the years.
